At Whole Body Studio we understand massage and
bodywork as an instinctive natural and ancient method of
healthcare.  We believe self-nurturing in the physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual realms of our beings is
essential for both health and happiness.

Massage Descriptions

Hot Stone Massage
Increasingly in demand, Hot Stone massage may be used as
a relaxing spa treatment as well as for chronic tension and
pain. Hot Stone massage is a therapeutic massage with the
assistance of heated basalt stones to cause a physiological
response in your body to promote healing.  


Therapeutic Massage
Our therapeutic massage incorporates a system of long
strokes, deep finger pressure and kneading - applied to
release chronic patterns of tension and pain.  This
promotes relaxation, improves range of motion, increases
circulation and facilitates a heightened sense of overall
well-being.  


Seated Massage
A unique massage where you stay fully clothed and in just
20 minutes you can have all of your problem areas worked
on.  Our specially designed chair allows the client to
throughly relax while allowing the therapist easy access to  
your back, neck, shoulders, head, arms and hands.  No
lotions or oils are used during this acupressure type of
massage.  


Shiatsu Bodywork Session
Shiatsu is a form of oriental bodywork incorporating
acupressure and stretching to aid in restoring the body to
a state of balance.  Shiatsu is effective in alleviating the
symptoms of many diseases, as well as muscular aches and
pains caused by tension.

Shiatsu is one type of bodywork allowing an individual to
remain fully clothed during their session.
